Awesome shoe find at my TJ Maxx! My TJM has a Runway section which always gets me so excited when I go in, despite the fact that I still can't afford a lot of the stuff. LOL. I got lucky this time around! I was perusing the shoe section (which is always a complete mess) and amazingly found a pair of D&G booties on clearance!! I was totally mesmerized when I lay my eyes on these. Here they are (sorry, I was way too excited to take these photos in a better place):
Dark grey suede with the dip in the front that I've been obsessing about, and here it's PERFECT. Four inch, thick but not too thick heel and a seamless almond toe. So beautiful! Regular price $700! How much did I pay? $189! It was still in the upper hundreds and about $70 more than I usually pay for shoes, but I figured if I returned those Adrienne Vittadini suede booties from Piperlime that I settled on, then really these were only about $100. LOL. I am so, so excited about these I can hardly contain myself! The fit is narrow and a straight up size 6, maybe even a smidge small. My toes are by no means squished or uncomfortable, but I can feel them touching the top of the shoe but not in an annoying way; it's much like a pointy-toed heel. If you have a wider foot than my own (and I have a fairly narrow foot) or a borderline 6-6.5, these would not fit and I could see why these made it to the clearance rack. Lucky me!
