The Invisible Host.

Denim: J Brand 910 Skinnies (Ink, size 24).

Shoes: Bloch Giselle Flats (Nude, size 6.5).

Sweater: J. Crew Cardigan (Dark Green, size XSP).

Tank: Jacob Essential Tank, (Light Grey, size XS).

Belt: Asos Leather Belt (Yellow Patent, size S).

Necklace: Target.

     On the weekend I hosted a "wedding" shower. Which is what I call a bridal shower but it's for the bride AND the groom, instead of just for the bride. Actually, I only provided the room. It was my friend who needed a place to hold the shower for her sister-in-law and I allowed her to use it. Otherwise, I had no relationship to the party whatsoever and just pretended to be invisible. It was kind of awkward, but I tried to blend in as much as possible. Anyway, this is what I wore. It's not very wedding shower-y, but it's not much different from what the other girls were wearing, so it was OK.

     In hindsight, there are two things I could have done to make this outfit better: (1) I wish I had a little flower pin to put on my sweater, just to give it a little bit of a more feminine touch. I think I'll try to hunt one down. (2) It probably would have been a good time to use some fashion tape to "pin" down the cardi across the front. Because of the ruching, when open, the cardi tends to look a little sloppy. Oh well. Next time.
