You may have noticed in yesterday's blog post I was wearing a super-delicate looking bracelet. It's a bit of a rarity when you see me wearing "fine" jewelry. This is partly because I usually prefer big, chunky, costume-y pieces to accessorize my outfits, and partly because I don't really own very many delicate pieces. The few pieces that I do own were gifts. I don't wear them often, but they certainly do have their place in a woman's wardrobe.
Anjolee was kind enough to send me a custom bracelet to try from their website. Anjolee sells items such as diamond tennis bracelets, gemstone bracelets, diamond bangles, engagement rings and necklaces, and even men's jewelry.
When I was first given the URL to their website, I wasn't sure what to expect. Something flashy? Something too simplistic and difficult to use? But actually, I found that their website is super easy to navigate. Every category of jewelry they sell can be found on the left side with various "help" and "about" tabs near the top. They also have a mobile app for shopping on the go and live chat help if you are like me and prefer to avoid the phone, if at all possible.
I admit, I was a little giddy looking at all the items they have to offer. What can I say? I like diamonds. ;) The website offers many affordable pieces ranging from a few hundred dollars and also many items that are far out of my personal price range, but beautiful nonetheless. And one of the best things about it? Is being able to customize a piece online, step-by-step, and seeing instantly how much it will cost after customization. Another great feature about the website is being able to rotate the image 360 degrees, zoom in on the image, and even download an HD image of the item that you are interested in purchasing. I had a few issues trying to get the customization to work, probably because I was trying to customize the piece by doing the steps out of order and then trying to going back, but otherwise, the process was very easy and extremely user-friendly. I had the ability to choose the type of metal, the gemstone, and even the length, which I was really excited about because bracelets have always been too big for my very small wrist.
After some fooling around with the website, I chose this bracelet with different gemstones than shown here:
It is the Teardrop Link Gemstone Bracelet (Style No.: SB852-Gem), in 10K white gold, 2mm size with amethyst gemstones perfectly measured to fit me.
Because the bracelet is customized, it took about a week to reach me after putting in my order. The packaging made me go "ooh" and had me super excited to see what was inside. It did not disappoint.
Such a beautiful box for great presentation:
A few photos showing the fit as it was customized for me:
As thrilled as I am with my customized gemstone bracelet, after perusing the website a little longer, I have my eye on the bangle bracelets, particularly this Diamond Top Bangle (Style No. BB9):
Unfortunately, you can't customize the size of the bangle, but you can select the diamond quality and the carat weight as well as the type of metal. If I was in the market for a beautiful diamond bangle, this is definitely one of the places I would choose to look first. They have such a great selection, and the diamond earrings, in which they carry several styles including stud, drop, and hoops, are also stunning.
The Anjolee website also has jewelry and diamond education as well as a buying guide if you are inexperienced with buying jewelry and need a little help. What happens if you go to all the trouble to customize your item and when you receive it, you don't like it? Anjolee has a 30-day return policy, even for customized orders! With such a large selection of jewelry, free shipping (only within the US, but international shipping is offered), no sales tax, and no risk buying, I highly recommend checking out Anjolee if you are looking for some diamond or gemstone jewelry whether it be for yourself or as a gift.
Here are a few of my top picks from the website:

Classic Six Prong Diamond Stud Earrings |
And in honor of my mom who would LOVE a set of these one day:

Thank you, Anjolee!
