The White Jacket.

I've been on the hunt for a great statement blazer the last few months. Something a little different, and something in a color other than black. I've been reading around the internet about how people can't get enough of their white blazer, so I decided to take the plunge with this Zara tuxedo-style blazer for $89.50:

Blazer: Zara (White, size S).
Blouse: Club Monaco Alesia Silk Shirt (Toast, size XS).
Denim: Paige Premium Denim Verdugo Jeggings (McKinley, size 25).
Ring: Forever21.
Bracelets: Forever21, Material Girl.

At first it sort of felt like I was wearing a lab coat, but when I got over that initial feeling, I do like it and it is of decent quality. I like the structured shoulder and the shape of the lapel. The only real issues I have with it is that although it fits my shoulders, it is too big in the waist when buttoned up. Also, now that I look at these photos, it also looks a bit too long. Ideally, I would prefer that the jacket be an inch or two shorter so not to shorten the look of my legs. Otherwise, the jacket looks really great thrown over a pair of jeans for casual wear, but I'm not so sure I'm going to get a whole lot of wear out of it now that summer temps seem to be creeping upon us here in D.C.. I think this may have to go back and I'll have to suspend my blazer search until Fall approaches once again.

Should I keep the blazer or just return it for something that I think will get more wear?
