Torn up.

I'm trying to lighten up on the colors now that spring is slowly making an appearance, but it's still been so chilly, I just want to run back to my blacks. Hence:

Jacket:  Veda Max.
Sweater: C by Bloomingdale's Cashmere Crewneck Sweater.
Rings: Aldo Caling.
Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim 31 Minute Medium Clutch.

I've been on the hunt for a destroyed pair of denim for quite a while now, but the pairs I really wanted either sold out because I trying to find them on super sale but were so popular that I missed out, or, it just ended up not being quite right. I saw these jeans on the Zara website and I was immediately intrigued by them. I've never much luck with Zara pants in the past, but by the time I had decided I wanted to try them anyway, they were OOS online. Figures. They were even quite elusive in-store week after week, but finally, after months of stalking them, I snagged myself a pair online when it was re-stocked.

I'm not usually a fan of super stretchy "denim", but these just look amazing on the legs. I wasn't expecting them to fit so snugly, but they do!  The one thing I would change if I could would be to make the rise a bit lower. Too close to my belly button and my non-existent hips are much more noticeable. If you like mid-rise denim, these are perfect! Despite the rise being a bit higher than my personal preference, I see myself wearing these non-stop on the weekends for the next while. I can't wait!
