From the backlog: Shorted Out.

I found these photos in my backlog. I can't remember why I chose not to post these intially, but I think it was because I forgot to put on a necklace (again). Nonetheless, I've to posted these photos anyway until I can come up with another outfit post since I've been a little slow keeping up. Adding a pendant necklace would have been perfect for this.

Blouse: Ann Taylor Silk Camp Shirt (Winter White, size XSP).
Shorts: Forever21 (Brown Plaid, size XS).
Belt: Abercrombie & Fitch Braided Belt (Bronze Metallic, size S).
Bracelet: Aldo (Gold).
Watch: Michael Kors Runway Watch (Silver).
Sandals: Aldo Cork Wedge (Natural, size 6).
Necklace: F21 Pendant.

If I had changed out the sandals for booties, this may have qualified for PFC #10, which was only a few days ago.

I like to think of myself as a fairly practical shoe buyer. And I am, for the most part. My hyper-sensitive feet makes sure of that, but I do make mistakes. I'm trying to completely eliminate those occasions where I buy shoes that I'll only wear once. The first and last time I wore these wedges was my law school graduation (the first one), I think. It's an awful cycle. I'm always on the look out for a pair of shoes that I can wear for years and years. When I finally find a pair, they are almost always out of my budget, so I figure I will wait until I can afford them...which seems to be never. But when I really need shoes for a specific occasion, I don't have anything in my closet so I'm forced to purchase a pair of shoes at the last minute that I may or may not wear again. And do I wear them again? More often than not, no. I seem to do this with dresses as well. Anyone else do this or am I freak?
