Style Strategy: Can I Wear Tuxedo Striped Pants to Work?

The racer-stripe or tuxedo-stripe pant trend has been lingering for the past few seasons. It's certainly a unique detail to pants that can either give it a dressier look if done in a satin material, or even make the pants a bit "sporty" if done in a less formal fabric and styled casually. Either way, this menswear-inspired look is chic and slimming and very easy to wear for many occasions including the office. Take, for example, this version by Club Monaco:

I always enjoy a pop of color during the warmer seasons, and these particular trousers seem to call for it:

Tuxedo stripe/1
Club Monaco Sarah Tuxedo Crop Pants, $149.50 / Mango blouse, $70 / Bardot blazer, $90 / Brooks Brothers shoes, $126 / Leather handbag, $40 / A|X Armani Exchange a x armani exchange, $38 /H&M rings, $8

Or:

Tuxedo Stripe/3
Mango sleeveless top, $50 / Mango neon jacket, $100 / Ankle tie wedge, $140 / Michael Kors bracelet watch, $250/ True Birds bib necklace, $42/ ALDO Belin Sky, $55

Alternatively, in keeping with the black/white trend that's so big this year:

Tuxedo Stripe/2
Bouchra Jarrar Trench, $2300 / Kate Spade leather pumps, $183 / Mango logo tote bag, $65 / A|X Armani Exchange leather jewelry, $38 / Aritzia Archer Blouse $110
