As with all things in fashion, a classic wardrobe piece is updated at least every few seasons to make it more modern or trendy. For example, designers have recently been embellishing collars of blouses, giving it an interesting twist on something that can be rather mundane if worn in frequent rotation. I love the concept of the jeweled collar because it takes the guess work out of accessorizing which is great for those mornings when I'm running behind and it can be worn to the office even in many conservative environments without raising too many eyebrows.
For a business casual look, try it under a short sleeve sweat and a knee-length paper bag skirt:
