Style Strategy: Can I Wear Lace Pants to the Office?

I think many of us would agree that lace tops and lace skirts can be styled appropriately for many office environments, but what about lace pants? Yes, it can look a bit like "evening wear", however lace pants can look both elegant and appropriate for the office with a little strategic planning. Since the pants already have a "pattern", solid colors are a great choice for preventing the outfit from being over the top:

  Applying the the same concept of pairing the lace pants with solids instead of patterns, but you can use contrasting the colors if you still feel the need for that little extra something:
