     If anyone is wondering what the heck a "gilet" is, it's actually the french word for "vest". I've been wanting a vest lately, but I've been unsure of which style to buy. Long? Short? Moto? Leather? 

     I saw this long vest at Forever21 and I thought that the quality wasn't so bad that I was willing to spend $35 on it. I tried it on multiple times in store on different occasions, and finally decided that I liked it. My mistake. I ordered it online (because I saw some rings I wanted that I couldn't find in store)  and realized upon playing around with it at home that I would like it much better if had buttons or some sort of tie at the waist. I thought about a DIY project, but it had the potential to turn out disastrous, so I think I'm just going to return it and take my chances with a gift card.
