I admit it, I just didn't understand the whole short/cuffed boot trend. I mean, why would you want your boot to look like it had it's own built-in pants? That, and in general, I think think the short boot just hits the leg at such an awkward height and they reminded me so much of elf shoes.
Then, I saw this picture of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley on JustJared.com:
Suddenly it hit me as to how cute they could be if the boots were heeled and not flat. So while at work, though I wasn't intentionally looking for boots (I swear), I came across an ad showing these boots by Matiko:
They are the Naamah boot. I kind of liked them, though I wasn't completely sold until I saw this picture of them on Revolve:
Convertible boot?!?! I love the wrap around strap. It gives the boot a little bit of edge, and the fact that the boot is a little slouchy means it could be much more forgiving around thin calves. I want them, though they are pretty pricey. $284 regular price, half price on Hautelook right now, but not in my size. The only other two places I can find them are Endless (not on sale) and on the Matikoshoes.com website, and apparently I missed Matiko's big sale a few weeks ago which had 35% off everything. Just my luck.
